Lets keep it lovely! We hope you enjoyed the party in the park. However, leaving your rubbish piled on the pavement outside is not only illegal — it’s antisocial and unfair to those who live here and care about the area.
Foxes will tear through it, and soon it’ll be scattered everywhere.
We want everyone to enjoy the park, so please take your rubbish home and help keep this space clean and welcoming for all.
When Recklessness Threatens Our Park
Recently, someone hoisted a Lime bike into a tree in our beautiful Woodcock Park. Thankfully, it has now been removed — but not before raising serious concerns.
Tree damage: The branches were strained under the weight, risking long-term harm to the tree.
Safety hazard: A falling bike could have seriously injured someone or a pet.
Spoiling the park: Acts like this undermine the peace and beauty of our shared green space.
If you witness anything similar, please report it to the council or contact your local councillor.

Buzzing with Life: Our Pollinator Garden in Woodcock Park
Our Pollinator Garden in Woodcock Park is buzzing with life! 🐝🌸 It’s amazing to see bees flocking to the colourful blooms — a small but powerful step in supporting local biodiversity and creating a thriving habitat for pollinators.
The Great British Clean Up
We had approximately 100 people in attendance from the following schools and community groups and businesses:
- St Gregory’s Catholic Science College (Student Eco Committee were the coordinators of this event)
- Claremont High School
- Uxendon Manor Primary School
- The Mount Stewart Schools
- BrightStart Childcare
- Friends of Woodcock Park
- Rotary Club of Northwick Park
- KBMD Chartered Accountants
- Infatec Security Systems
- Local residents
Brent Parks Team were very helpful in supplying additional litter picking equipment for our many volunteers and they will pick up all the rubbish we have collected later today.
Bat Walk
Did you know we have resident bats in our incredible park. The 3rd Kenton Scouts and members of the community joined naturalist Simon Braidman and Chair of Friends of Woodcock Park, Joy Rickman on an exciting batwalk in the park at dusk on Friday 2nd May, 2025. It was wonderful to see all the bats flying around the park to catch their prey.
Pond
We have an exciting new project in the park. The Conservation Volunteers have been working in the park to dig a pond to hold some of the flood waters that accumulate in the park. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to finish the project. We are working with Brent Council to find a resolution to finish the project.
Rough Sleeping
A rough sleeper has been discovered in the wildlife corridor that runs adjacent to the Wealdstone Brook in the park.
AGM 2024
Our annual general meeting is taking place at the Harrow District Masonic Centre, Northwick Circle, Harrow HA3 0EL on June 4th 2025 at 8pm.
This event is for everyone that cares about Woodcock Park and the surrounding areas. Please do join us at the meeting where you can ask any questions and give us information about anything you have observed in the park that would like to flag up.
This is a very good time to become a member and it only costs £10 per family for the year or £5 for a single person.
